History of Chance Shoot

Recently I worked on a short film entitled ‘History of Chance’ written and directed by Max Blustin.

The film was shot on location in and around London. We shot on Arri Alexa.

The producers were: Andrew JD Hauser, Ken Petrie, Neil Roberts, the DOP was Peter Robertson.

Implementation Feature Shoot – Part 1

At the beginning of 2012 I worked on a feature film entitled ‘Implementation’ written and directed by Ellis Farrell.

The film was shot on location in and around London and Wimbledon Studios. We shot on Red Mysterium and Red Epic.

The producer was: Oz Thakkar, the DOP was: Mikolaj Jaroszewicz.

The cast included: Donna Grant, Samuel Feeney and Lucy Roslyn

Sparks and Embers Feature Shoot

At the end of 2011 & beginning of 2012 I worked on a feature film entitled ‘Sparks and Embers‘ written and directed by Gavin Boyter.

The film was shot on the south bank of the Thames and at Twickenham Studios London. We shot on 2 x Arri Alexa.

Our Criminal Britain Season on BBC mixed at De Lane Lea

I recently mixed a trailer for the Our Criminal Britain Season on BBC3. The trailer is currently airing on BBC1, BBC2 and BBC3. The mix was done at De Lane Lea in Soho.

The Directors were Luke Seomore and Joeseph Bull of I for Eyes Films.

May I Kill You – Feature Shoot

At the end of 2011 I worked on a feature film entitled ‘May I Kill You‘ written and directed by Stuart Urban.

The film was shot at various locations around London. We shot on RED, 5D and Contour.

The producer was Alan Jay, the DOP was Fernando Ruiz, the full crew list can be found in IMDB.

The cast included: Kevin Bishop, Jack Doolan, Frances Barber, Hayley-Marie Axe, Kasia Koleczek a full cast list can be found on IMDB.

It was a very enjoyable shoot and we all had a lot of fun, especially with the stunts and guns!

Counting Backwards Shoot

I recently did a shoot for a short film called ‘Counting Backwards’ Directed by Sean De Sparengo.

The film was shot on locations in North & Greater London. We shot on 35mm Panaflex Millenium XL.

The Director was Sean De Sparengo, the Producers were Scott Clark (exec), Tiernan Hanby, Campbell Beaton, Jon Levis, Eddie Deyton, the DOP was Adam Suschitzky, the 1st AD was Tiernan Hanby.

The Parachutist Shoot

I recently did a some pic ups for a short film called ‘The Parachutist’ Directed by Tom Tagholm.

The film was shot on locations in North London. We shot on 35mm.

The Director was Tom Tagholm, the Producer was Rory Fry, the DOP was Luke Scott, the 1st AD was Hamish Storey.

The cast was: Michael Smiley & Oli Bigalke.

I was boom operator and was working with Sound Recordist Ludo!

What’s been happening?

What have I been up to in the last few months? Well firstly I got married and went on honeymoon so that was brilliant! It has understandably been a quieter June/July than normal on the sound front.

I have been busy though! I have been working on a variety of projects with some fantastic people, I have done some more web virals for Maris and worked on some very funny sketches with David Armand. Here are some previews of a selection of those projects:

North London Book of the Dead Shoot

I recently did a shoot for a short film called ‘North London Book of The Dead’ written by Simon Block Directed by Jacob Lushington.

The film was shot on locations in North London. We shot on RED..

The Director was Jacob Lushington, the Producer was Kath Mattock, the DOP was Jake Polonsky, the 1st AD was Alex Holt.

I was boom operator on the shoot and was working with Sound recordist Rupert Ivey and Dudley Houlden

Films Premiering in New York April 28th

Two films I worked on are premiering at Columbia’s film festival at the IFC Center in New York City. The 2 films that were successful in being chosen for entry to the festival were Lucky Duck and Mums Not In. I worked on Lucky Duck last year in Ohio USA and Mums Not In earlier this year in Mold North Wales.
